Katy Didden is a poet who is interested in the relationship between text and image, the history of the elegy, and creative writing and the environment. She is the author of Ore Choir: The Lava on Iceland (Tupelo Press, 2022) and The Glacier’s Wake (Pleiades Press, 2013). She collaborated with members of the Banff Center’s Beyond Anthropocene Residency to co-create the Almanac for the Beyond (Tropic Editions, 2019), and her poems, essays, and reviews appear in journals such as Public Books, Poetry Northwest, Ecotone, Diagram, The Kenyon Review, Image, 32 Poems, The Spoon River Poetry Review, and The Sewanee Review. She is an Associate Professor at Ball State University where she directs the Creative Writing Program.
