Dana Y. Wu is an Asian-American, female writer and 2024 MFA graduate of Manhattanville University where she works as a Learning Specialist. In addition to two non-fiction children’s books, The Chinese-American Experience (1993) and Our Libraries (2001), her work has appeared in the Balanced Rock Journal, Inside Chappaqua, The Episcopal New Yorker, The Stanford Daily, Voices from the Attic Anthology and Dionne's Story, Vol. IV. She was awarded MVICW Summer Conference Author Fellowships (2021 and 2024), the Sr. O’Gorman Scholarship, a 2023 NYS Summer Writers Institute Scholarship and supported by scholarships to attend craft workshops at the Hudson Valley Writer Center, A Public Space, Write or Die, and The Shipman Agency. She is honored to be selected as a 2025 Ragdale Artist-in-Residence.
