Chicago, IL
Ann Marie Greenberg is a visual artist and educator whose work explores the endless versatility and the perils of single-use plastics, extending the material’s life as art and creating beauty and joy with it. Using processes like bioplastic production and printmaking, she repurposes discarded materials, such as plastics and wood remnants and searches to uncover their hidden potential for transformation.
In recent years, Ann Marie has presented several solo exhibitions, including Light Wrapping Itself at a+c Gallery in Skokie, IL; Pour Forth at The Harry Krug Gallery in Pittsburg, KS; Idle and Blessed at the Lee E. Dulgar Gallery, South Suburban College, South Holland, IL; and Lightness Alot at the Dickson Window Art Project Space, Waubonsee, IL. She is an alum of In Cahoots Residency, Ca. and Mothers Milk Residency, Ks.
