Amelia Akiko Frank is an artist and writer interested in holes and survival. Frank holds BAs in Visual Arts and Interdisciplinary Studies in the Humanities from the University of Chicago, where she was awarded the Louis Sudler Prize in the Performing and Creative Arts. Her work has been included in exhibitions at 34 Orchard, Tutu Gallery, Columbia College Library, Logan Center Gallery, the University of Chicago International House, and the New York Academy of Art, and featured in publications including wig-wag, *82 Review, Right Hand Pointing, Sliced Bread, Grey City, The Chicago Maroon, and Working Document. She has attended residencies at La Wayaka Current (Atacama Desert, Chile) and the New York Academy of Art (New York, NY). She is based in Brooklyn.
