Sasha Hom is a writer, goat farmer, yurt dweller, and homeschooling mother of four. She lives on a 600-acre land co-op in Central VT, chopping wood, hauling water, and melting snow.

She earned her MFA from Warren Wilson College as a Holden Minority Scholar in 2022. Her first novella, Sidework, was a New Immigrant Writing Series selection published by Black Lawrence Press in March of 2025.

She received support from the Elizabeth George Foundation, Sustainable Arts Foundation, a Vermont Arts Council, the Friends of Writers and won the Brink Literary Journal Award for Hybrid Writing. Her work can be found at The Millions, Kweli Journal, Literary Mama, Leon Literary Review, and various anthologies.
