Project Contractors
BULLEY & ANDREWS
Established in 1891, seven years before Ragdale was completed in 1898, Bulley & Andrews is one of Chicago's oldest and most accomplished general contracting firms. It was founded by English stonemason Frederick Bulley and architect Alfred Andrews. Together the two men oversaw a variety of projects from office and industrial complexes to North Shore mansions. In 1991 Bulley & Andrews acquired the local contracting company of Gerhardt F. Meyne, which expanded their client base as well as their field and office resources. Ragdale is very confident that the firm's experience, expertise, and reputation for attention to details make Bulley & Andrews an excellent construction partner to lead the renovation of Howard Van Doren Shaw's beloved Ragdale House.
