New 2013 Residency Calendar

Beginning with the January, 2013 session, residencies at Ragdale will be longer with the intention of allowing artists and writers more quality time to do their creative work.  The traditional 2-week residencies will be extended to 18 or 25-day sessions, beginning on Mondays and ending on Fridays.  

“Artists routinely wanted more time at Ragdale to complete their intended projects and two weeks seemed too short. We hope this new calendar responds better to the residents’ needs,”  says Regin Igloria, Director of Residencies and Fellowships.

The current 2013 sessions are as follows:

#5    April 22 – May 10
#6    May 13 - June 7
#7    June 17 – July 5
#8    July 8 - July 26
#9    August 5 – August 23
#10    August 26 – September 20
#11    October 7 – October 25
#12    October 28 – November 22
#13    November 25 – December 13

Deadlines for applications are:

January 15 for the summer sessions #7-10, May 15 for the fall sessions #11-13, and September 15 for the winter/spring sessions # 1-6.
